Two hand-hewn spruce columns hold up the front porch. Inside: reclaimed timber, a rotating tap wall, and the low warm hum of a Saturday that started Thursday.
We cook Alaska. Elk from the interior, halibut from the coast, reindeer sausage from the neighbors. Everything else is comfort — mac & cheese done right, stone-fired pies, and a burger that remembers what a burger is supposed to be.
